SoBe Mixed-Use Garage

This mixed-use structure, primarily used as a parking garage, was approached by a design partly of simplicity and tension. The parking podium, overtaking the bulk of the structure, is a play on the solid, raw, mundane use of a parking facility, masked by the subtle use of a facade that acts as an element of intrigue, movement, and delicate reflection of a veil, serving as the transition between the ground floor public retail space, and the upper floor residential units.
